The analysis of the mechanisms that allow studying the students’ learning results in a timely and orderly manner, are herein considered of utmost importance to strengthen their learning pathway throughout their university education, and reinforce their professional background. Nowadays, the assessment of both, career paths in the University education domain; and curriculum —including its validity and congruence with the social environment and labor market demands— are crucial for the development of new strategies in the short, medium and long term. In this sense, this proposal stands for the assessment of a curriculum degree based on the students’ career path within a Mexican state-run University where future Education professionals are being trained. The proposal aims at three stages of the curriculum. The work mechanisms that allowed for the assessment strategy as well as some insights on its implementation are presented hereafter.
