The problem of no taking entrepreneurial initiatives among university graduates addressed the present research, which concerns the impact of teaching entrepreneurship 2.0 on gaining the entrepreneurial spirit. Research aims were to describe innovation on teaching entrepreneurship by discussing the different teaching approaches of three academic years and their objective of stimulating awareness of entrepreneurial thoughts, skills and behavior among the students in the university settings. A combination of qualitative research methods, including observations and critique by the responsible teacher and an entrepreneurship consultant, acting as co-teacher and postdoctoral researcher on innovation and e-entrepreneurship, and students’ interviews were chosen. Research findings revealed a unique mix of teaching methods, including presentations of active digital entrepreneurs, qualified experts and students competing for their innovative ideas, as well as the assignment of entrepreneurial endeavors to students embraced by group discussions brought into light interesting learning outcomes. The study provides a best practice of teaching entrepreneurship for others to benchmark and seems to be capable of increasing the interest of both, teacher and learner, in entrepreneurship initiatives. Furthermore, this approach can be characterized as the first step of raising entrepreneurial awareness, while readiness to entrepreneurship can be achieved by combined activities in the long run.
